About the Idris-M:
One of the most anticipated ships in the Star Citizen universe is the Aegis Dynamics Idris-M corvette. It was the largest ship available for purchase during the campaign, only 100 M´s were made available, to preserve game balance (and no more will ever be sold – except you want to spend 15.000USD for a “big” game pack)!
The Idris-M is a small capital ship capable of storing smaller fighters and being run by a team of players working together. The “M” is the military Variant and cannot be in any way compared to the “P” – the civilian variant. You think the “K” variant is a match to the Idris-M? The answer is no, the Idris-M is still the best option for destroying big ships; out of the box, the railgun is much more powerful than anything the “P” or the “K” has to offer. It´s power requirements play better with the ship’s other systems since it has two Powerplants instead of one. The M also has stronger armor and higher performance military components.
